Kubuntu gets rebranded with a new logo and Plymouth theme

With Ubuntu being rebranded, now its the turn of its derivatives to do the same. On being asked if the rebranding will be universal for all the derivatives of Ubuntu, Mark Shuttleworth said that it will and the designers at canonical are working on it. The new logo and Plymouth theme for Kubuntu are out now and will be available in the next Beta release. Check them out.

The new logo and the plymouth themes are similar in design to the ones in Ubuntu, only the colour is different.

The new logo is a definite improvement, and a much better counterpart to the "circle of friends" than was the "huddle of gear-heads". Change is good.
