I have seen a lot of linux like OS or their derivatives but this one is certainly out of the box. An operating system focused on electronics, it is indeed great. Ubuntu Electronics Remix or (UER) is an Ubuntu derivative OS, aimed to make Ubuntu for electronics as easy as possible. This release is based on Ubuntu 9.10. The ISO was available on the main site, but due to a lot of downloads the month bandwidth was finished. So, they are trying to set up a torrent until then if you are already using Ubuntu 9.10, you can turn it in to your own Ubuntu Electronics Remix.
