Ubuntu Opportunistic Developer Week starting from 1st March

The best thing about Ubuntu community is that they keep on organizing various events to help new community members learn a lot of different skills. Remember the Ubuntu Developer Week last month, where they taught packaging and a whole bunch of other things and Ubuntu User Days. This time there is going to be a series of sessions aimed at teaching various development skills and tools to the new developers. Its the Ubuntu Opportunistic Developer week I am talking about. Time to pack your bags linuxers, its time for FOSDEM. Free and open source Developers' European Meeting aka FOSDEM is an annual event which takes place in Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium. Its a full fun and learning weekend there.

Ubuntu Developer Week has kicked off

I know I am probably more than an hour late to give you this news. But its better to be late than never . I was actually busy in writing this how to to help you linuxers attend this great event using this wonderful application Lernid. Thanks to Jono Bacon, the developer of Lernid, who made attending the classrooms extremely easy for us.

Ubuntu User Day on 23rd Jan

Ubuntu Users Day is a great step from the Ubuntu community to help the beginner and intermediate Ubuntu users get started with Ubuntu easily. It is a one day online event on 23rd January 2010, covering around 14 topics ranging from installing ubuntu, finding help, installing softwares and drivers, IRC basics to getting involved in the Ubuntu Community. Seriously linuxers, you can't afford to miss this.
