Dial 1-800-41-999-999, you will be welcomed by a specialized speech recognition system, asking for the info you want and you will receive the searched result via a SMS.

This service has been available in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore since March '09. Just dial and see for yourself. The greatest thing is that it is toll-free and available 24 Hrs. It can be done from any landline or mobile phone.

The local business query is searched in google local search. So, you might want to add your business info in Google Local Business Center.

Google Phone search is still in its pilot stage and so sometimes your message might not be recognized, if the system fails twice in a row then your call will be forwarded to a local operator who will assist you with your query. If you want a local operator before then you can dial 9 and your call will be switched. The operator is available from 8am to midnight.
