Use BarTab to fix Firefox slow startup and memory hog issue

Do you have 20+ tabs open all the time while working on Firefox? Then no doubt you would have faced the trouble of Firefox consuming a lot of memory and ofcourse the large time it takes to restore all the tabs at start up. Now, you can get rid of these issues by using the Firefox addon BarTab.

This addon lets you selectively keep tabs on your BarTab, which means you can unload them. In this way, you can decrease the memory consumption of Firefox by unloading tabs that you don't require at the moment. The tabs won't disappear on unloading, they will just appear in gray or faded. Right-click on the concerned tab and select "unload" to unload it.

In a similar way, it won't load all the tabs at startup, they will be loaded only when you visit them. This significantly affects the loading time of Firefox at startup. So, if you face one of such problems, its time to use BarTab.

Note the faded tabs.
